Protein Ice Cream at the beach

Can ice cream be healthy? This delicious protein ice cream recipe does.

The Low Carb Ice Cream not only helps with cravings…

…it also works with any fat reduction diet plan and is prepared in the blink of an eye.

Enjoy it!

Why Protein Low Carb Ice Cream?

In life, there are very few incontrovertible facts, but here’s one:

Everyone loves desserts.

It’s a physiological law. Anyone who has functioning taste buds likes certain foods very much – whether chocolate, cheese or ice cream.

The catch: Most desserts are not necessarily figure-compatible.

The list of ingredients includes all the things that require restraint (sugar, fat, even more sugar).

I think an occasional piece of cake and dessert are part of a healthy diet.

The dose makes the poison.

At a certain level, the sweet vice does more harm than good. Especially if you want to get rid of fat and change your body.

And yet it is possible to eat a tasty dessert every day AND reduce fat in the process.

What’s the solution if you love desserts?

For most people, there are only two options:

You eat desserts and don’t look the way you want. (Or train accordingly more.)
You don’t eat desserts and try to control the craving for sweets somehow.
Both possibilities wouldn’t necessarily make me happy.

So I thought about a third one:

Protein ice cream – the healthy fitness dessert.

And the best is.. It is Keto Diet friendly.

But there is one question…

What Is Low Carb Protein Ice Cream ?

protein ice cream on a stick

You should know that this protein ice cream is slightly different in taste and consistency than what you might be used to from the ice cream parlour.

But first of all, it’s lightning fast and easy to prepare and – most importantly – it’s so damn tasty.

And the best:

The nutritional values are absolutely compatible with your fitness journey and it fits in EVERY diet plan.

The protein ice cream recipe is based on just three ingredients:

Protein powder, berries, water. That’s all.

I wouldn’t say that this treat was my idea alone. I can’t remember where I found the original protein ice cream recipe.

But I experimented a lot, the dessert varied and refined. And now it’s an integral part of my diet.

Mostly after dinner, sometimes at noon.

Why? Because it’s damn delicious. Because it’s healthy. Because I just LOVE it. And because it satisfies my cravings for sweetness.

When I share it with others who suffer from ravenous hunger, they notice the same:

It makes you SATISFIED.

In fact, the renunciation of sweets is a real challenge for many people who already achieved their goal. But fortunately there is a solution.

Protein Ice Cream Eecipe: 3 Delicious Alternatives to Normal Ice Cream

This protein ice cream recipe helps you break through the monotony so that the change is even easier for you.

If you want to try it, you’ll first learn my basic recipe, then a variation and finally a ready-made protein ice cream from the store.

Protein Ice Cream Recipe #1 – Blueberry Vanilla Soft Ice Cream

Frozen fruit turns your protein shake into a delicious soft ice cream in no time. This recipe is a healthy filling aid – because the volume doubles when you mix it.

  • 30 g vanilla protein powderblueberry sotfeis
  • 150 g frozen blueberries
  • 250 ml water

  1. First pour the water, then the frozen blueberries and finally the protein powder into a blender.
  2. Mix everything for about 10 seconds at the highest speed until the frozen blueberries are crushed.
  3. Then let the blender run at a low speed for another 2 minutes until the ice cream has an evenly creamy consistency.

Even with this simple protein ice cream recipe there are many possibilities for more variety. Here are my favorite variations:

  • Protein powder: The protein ice cream also tastes good with other varieties.
  • Blueberries: Berries contain very little carbohydrates and are therefore ideal for a low carb ice cream. Instead of blueberries you can also use strawberries, raspberries or a berry mix.
  • Water: If the fruit is not frozen, you can replace some of the water with ice cubes. Instead of water you can also use milk (ideally organic). It tastes even better, but also provides more (milk) sugar and calories. The ice cream also tastes great with almond milk.
  • Extras: A teaspoon of cinnamon can give the Low Carb ice cream an additional taste kick.

Almond ice cream

Protein Ice Recipe #2 – Dark Chocolate & Almond

You don’t own a blender yet? No problem. For this delicious protein ice cream recipe you do not need – apart from the freezer compartment – any electrical appliances.

  • 30 g chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp almond paste
  • 100 ml almond milk

  1. Put the almond paste in a bowl and add the egg white powder.
  2. Slowly stir in the almond milk and mix the almond paste, milk and powder until you have a pudding-like consistency.
  3. If you like, you can eat the dessert right now and call it protein pudding.
I prefer to put it in the freezer for 30-45 minutes until it takes on an ice cream-like consistency.

You can also vary this protein ice cream recipe:

  • Protein powder: There is also “grass-fed protein powder”. Products made from the milk of grazing cows. Even if the protein of grass-fed cows, in contrast to butter or full-fat milk, probably offers no health advantage, it is one way of supporting this type of livestock farming.
  • Almond paste: If you have a blender, you can also make the almond paste yourself.
  • Almond milk: Almond milk can also be made by yourself. Of course, the protein ice cream recipe also tastes good with milk.
  • Toppings: If you like, you can also garnish the ice cream. I like to add fresh banana slices, cocoa powder or chopped nuts. A little whipped cream is also good for it.

Low Carb Ice Cream #3 – Ice Cream from the Supermarket

The normal ice cream in the supermarket has in most cases only industrial sugar, fat and aroma substances.

easy fat burn

But there are also some good alternatives which are often more expensive. It is important to pay attention to the nutritional values and try to get one with a lot of protein but little fat and carbohydrates.

My recommendation is to make your own ice cream.

Do you have to do without dessert if you want to lose weight? No.

Not if you’re serving yourself one of the two protein ice cream recipes.
Protein ice cream is a great alternative to the sugary desserts and sweets from the supermarket.
It’s easy to make, fits in every diet, can supplement your training plan and just tastes incredible.
Now it’s your turn! Make your own variation and tell me in the comics what kind of ice cream you made.
